We are your local Ironmongers and Hardware shop.

We have a vast range of goods from adhesives to Yule logs for Christmas. We still can get parts for old oil lamps such as Aladdin and Tilly, or if you want a clothes pulley in your house, we have them in various sizes. But not everything in our shop is from the past, we also supply electrical goods and consumables, gardening tools and equipment, cooking utensils and pots, pans etc

This website was created to bring you our knowledge, advice and experience with a vast range of products direct into your own home.

As an Independent retail outlet, we believe that a one-to-one quality service we provide should be the normal standard of service, and not just an outdated novelty.

We are happy to be able to offer a personal service that involves interaction with our customers in not only selling, but also being able to listen to you and pass on our information and advise to all.

We are the main Calor Gas Direct Dealers for Central Scotland and at the Calor Gas Direct Portugal 2002 conference, we were voted, by Calor, to provide the best customer service in Scotland and were runners-up nationally. We are determined to maintain this level of service in everything we do.

Within this website, there is a section titled "Can you get?" This is the part where you can use us to source that awkward to get, or difficult to find item. You can also use it to gain information on how to do a particular job or what type of fixings should be used, etc. Also in our "Safety" section, we have hints and tips on DIY with emphasis on doing a job safely for yourself and others around.
